Heron Neutron Medical Signs Collaboration Agreement

with GE Precision Healthcare LLC

 

Heron Neutron Medical Corp. (TWSE: 7799) announced on October 17 that it had signed a collaboration agreement with GE Precision Healthcare LLC to jointly explore the application of software solutions for Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) and potential strategic collaboration opportunities. 

According to HERON, the agreement was signed on October 16. The collaboration will focus on GE HealthCare's intelligent Radiation Therapy (iRT) software, with both companies exploring its potential applications in BNCT treatment workflows and opportunities for strategic cooperation. 

HERON stated that the collaboration is expected to enhance customer value and contribute positively to the company's business development and financial performance. 

Moving forward, the two companies aim to leverage their respective expertise in BNCT and AI-driven healthcare technologies to explore the integration of AI-assisted medical imaging into BNCT applications. The collaboration will focus on improving workflow efficiency, reducing the complexity of system implementation for customers, and developing more comprehensive treatment solutions.
