Heron Neutron Medical and Siemens Healthineers Expand Strategic Collaboration in Advanced Medical Technology

 Heron Neutron Medical Corp. (TWSE: 7799) and Siemens Healthineers have announced an expansion of their strategic collaboration to explore opportunities in precision medicine and the advanced medical imaging equipment market.

 Following their collaboration earlier this year in advanced medical imaging and precision treatment technologies, the expanded cooperation will extend to equipment supply, manufacturer-authorized maintenance, and technical services. By combining their respective strengths and resources, the two companies aim to develop integrated solutions covering equipment implementation, maintenance and operational support, and clinical applications.

 Under the expanded collaboration, both parties will jointly pursue advanced medical imaging equipment projects and progressively establish a comprehensive equipment lifecycle management service framework.

Heron will broaden its service offerings in the healthcare sector, encompassing equipment integration and implementation planning, project management, and after-sales support. These services are intended to help healthcare institutions optimize equipment investments and operational efficiency.

 Siemens Healthineers will contribute original equipment, installation and implementation expertise, technical support, professional training, and certification programs, strengthening the combined capabilities of both companies to serve the market.

 A key focus of the collaboration is the development of localized technical service capabilities for medical equipment. With manufacturer authorization and technical support from Siemens Healthineers, Heron plans to progressively establish maintenance and servicing capabilities to provide customers with more responsive and comprehensive after-sales support. The collaboration also aims to leverage the resources of both organizations to enhance service quality and market coverage.

 The expanded collaboration also represents a progression from technology cooperation toward broader commercialization and market development.

 For Heron, this initiative will expand its presence in the advanced medical equipment sector while strengthening its ability to deliver diversified healthcare technology solutions.
